Monster Magnet frontman Dave Wyndorf has started his own record label.

Studio 13 will release 7”s and accompanying download cards focussing on Monster Magnet related music, although Dave said eventually the label would look at signing bands. more info!

Rammstein announce first U.S. show in almost a decade

Rammstein first stormed America in 1998, touring with a set based on their Grammy-nominated breakthrough second release, Sehnsucht, featuring "Du hast," the song that brought the world's attention to the band.

Slipknot announce free clown´s director´s cut of (sic)nesses screenings

Slipknot had some big news for their maggots (a.k.a. fans) on Thursday. They have just confirmed three special screenings of Clown's Director's Cut of (sic)nesses! There will be screenings taking place in New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago.

Clown himself will be attending the NYC showing making it a very special event definitely not to be missed. New York and Chicago will take place on September 27th while LA will be happening on release day the 28th. more info!

Testament ready to write and record!

Testament are back from the American Carnage tour with Slayer and Megadeth and are ready to begin writing and recording their follow up to The Formation of Damnation.

"The American Carnage tour was great for us, but now is the time for us to hold off on performing and go full steam ahead on getting the record finished," says vocalist Chuck Billy. "We currently have studio time booked at the end of this year, and we're shooting for a mid-2011 release. The new album will most likely be a culmination of The Gathering and The Formation of Damnation, but we're definitely not going to forget who we are or our roots. I think we've found a comfortable spot in our writing style." more info!

Mike Portnoy leaves Dream Theater

Mike Portnoy dropped a bombshell on Dream Theater fans on Wednesday, announcing that he is leaving the group after 25 years.
