Ian Astbury injured in tour bus accident

The Cult are currently on tour across Europe playing shows in support of their new album, "Choice Of Weapon."
The band experienced a terrifying crash just before 6:00AM local time Wednesday while in their tour bus traveling from Split, Croatia to Ljubijana, Slovenia.

The Cult new album in spring, preview new song

The Cult return this spring with “Choice Of Weapon,” their ninth studio effort.

Rolling Stone reports the album – the band’s first full-length in 5 years – is due May 22.

Co-produced by Chris Goss (Queens of the Stone Age, U.N.K.L.E.) and longtime collaborator Bob Rock (Metallica, Aerosmith), “Choice of Weapon” was made in several studios, including the band's own Witch Mountain as well as spots in New York City, Los Angeles and the California desert.

The Cult report that they are in the studio, with producer Bob Rock, putting the finishing touches on material for their new album.
